Leveraging Nissan’s Existing Desktop Assets to Create Seamless Mobile Experience

A HIGHLY RESPONSIVE MOBILE SITE POWERED BY ADOBE EXPERIENCE MANAGER

We’ve built a mobile version of the main desktop site for Nissan Canada. This had to be implemented on the same Adobe Experience Manager platform used for desktop while leveraging existing templates and page structures. The same desktop content and assets had to be reused to keep the two experiences consistent. The implementation had to be compatible across mobile platforms.

Utilizing the power of Adobe AEM, the desktop user experience was adapted to mobile devices

By continuing to use Adobe Experience Manager, we were able to allow users to carry on the same experiences on desktop, but on mobile. We did this by:

  • Extending Adobe AEM templates and components as well as implementing a number of media queries to handle different screen sizes and mobile platforms.
  • Adding custom configuration and implementation to trigger different behavior and functionality based on user's environment.

The scope of the solution included:

  • Adobe AEM implementation
  • Implementation of mobile experience for nissan.ca
  • Implementation of mobile detection and client libs loading mechanism
  • Implementation of mobile templates that reuse the same desktop published content
  • Implementation of custom AEM components versions for mobile
  • Implementation of front-end of the mobile site
  • Implementation of AEM backed services for dealer locator, and request a quote that integrates with Nissan and Autodata web services

Deep SSO integration to propel Dubai into Smart Government

Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the United Arab Emirates has been hard at work in transitioning from E-Government (Electronic Government) into Smart Government. Innovexa contributed to this massive effort by integrating Single Sign On (or SSO) authentication system to unify all government related transactions under one identification system. Starting with Dubai, the Single Sign On service was identified as an imperative system to the IT infrastructure that was revamped to support 22 Smart Government initiatives.
